Fudo Festino 2k18 is a national level technical event organized for food technology and related engineering disciplines, hosted by the Department of Food Technology, VFSTR University. It focuses on technical and other exciting events attracting participants from all over India. With the tagline underlying "CELEBRATING THE TECHNOLOGY IN FOOD" it is going to be a two days of food filled extravaganza. It is a unique opportunity for the food technology students and serving engineers to test their skills and invigorate their knowledge. Trofi Twinkle, the food carnival will be the major attractions of the event. This event anticipates to bring under one roof, food producers, processors, government policy makers, faculty, students and other food enthusiasts to share knowledge, discuss problems and present innovative solutions for sustaining the exponential growth of the food processing sector in India. The prime motive of organizing an event like this is to understand the needs and challenges of the industry and join hands together to find novel solutions for these problems.

REGISTRATION FEE
For vignanites: Rs. 100/- per 4 events.
Rs. 150/- per all events.

For Non vignanites: Rs. 200/- per 4 events.
Rs. 250/- per all events.

For Delegates: Rs. 1000/-

About Us
Objective of the dept. is to produce competent food technocrats who can take leading roles in improving the socio-economic status of growing food sectors in the region as well as India.
About Food Technology Dept.

Realizing the ever increasing demand of Food Technologists and enormous scope in the emerging food sector, department of Food Technology was established in V.F.S.T.R University in the year 2011. The objective of the department is to produce competent food technocrats who can take leading roles in improving the socio-economic status of region as well as India. The department is also focused on providing technical support to neighbouring farmers and entrepreneurs to establish small scale industries. The vision of the department is partly supported by MoFPI (Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India), with a generous funding grant of Rs. 75 Lakhs, for the establishment of the laboratory and other infrastructure.

Food Technology is a multidisciplinary course which includes subjects on processing, preservation, chemistry, quality, safety and marketing aspects of food and food products. The department has framed a unique "skill-oriented" curriculum in-line with major universities around the world, thereby enabling the students to be fit to work in research, teaching and/or industry upon graduation. The department has experienced faculty members with education degree from the premier institutes such as, IITs, NITs ,CFTRI, NIFTEM,IIFPT and Texas A&M. Currently, the department host 27 faculty and 510B.Tech. students.
