     The campus has playgrounds for cricket, football, tennis, basketball, badminton and volleyball. In addition, gymnasium, athletics track and walking track are available. All the sports activities at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) are organized under the supervision of well experienced coaches and physical directors.

     A well furnished A/c hostel facility is available for the foreign boys and girls within the campus. Hostels are equipped with indoor games facilities and gymnasium. No student should stay away from his/her room during the night without prior written permission of the Warden. The VFSTR hostel Health Centre offers medical facilities round the clock to the students residing in the hostels.

    Checker Board International meet:

    ISC (International Students Council) conducted an international meet titled "Checker Board International" on 7th&8th of October 2016 which was supported by SAC (Student Activity Council), E-cell and Sports committee of Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University). The main motto of this meet was sharing of knowledge, ideas and information between international students. More than 120 Students from over 27 countries actively participated and shared their ideas over 2 days. The list of the Countries is as follows: Afghanistan, Algeria, Australia, Bhutan, Burundi, Chad, Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, India, Iraq, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sudan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, & Yemen.
    Day One:-7th Oct'2016:
    All the events (excluding sports) took place at Sangamam hall, A- block. The first day started with the arrival and registration of students from various universities/colleges at A-block reception. An informal networking programme consisting of singing, dancing took place at Sangamam hall till 10:30AM. The inaugural event was initiated by the Chairman of Vignan Group, Dr.Lavu Rathaiah, Rector Dr.Rammurthy, Dean Admissions Dr.V.Ravi Kumar and Dean IT services Dr.K.V Krishna Kishore and the guest of honour Mr.Koteswara Rao.
    The inaugural function was followed by a 10-minute compilation of national anthems from all participation countries. Traditional greeting styles of each country were shown by the students from each country. A short interval was taken at 12.30PM for lunch at the Vignan Boys Hostel.
    After lunch seminar on international relations was presented by guest of honour Mr. Koteswa Rao followed by question and answer session. Presentation from international students was made upon the unique characteristics, struggles and upliftments of each country. This included social concerns like terrorism, poverty, human rights etc.The end of the first day was preceded by Cultural night and fashion walk at the open air theater near A-block. It included cultural dance, songs from different countries as well as traditional costumes from different countries. The first day officially ended and the dinner was served at the Vignan Boy's hostel.
    Day Two: - 8th Oct'2016:
    Day 2 started with an informal segment where students showed their talents in singing, dancing and other events. It was followed by currency exhibition based upon the currencies brought by the students. A brief lunch session was taken after which the participants and enthusiasts of sports and games gathered at their respective venues. Indoor games took place at the U block comprising of chess, carrom board and table tennis. Outdoor sports featured football and basketball.
    A formal conclusion to the event took place through awards and prize distribution ceremony where certificates and awards were presented by Dean of Admissions Dr.V.Ravi Kumar and Dean IT services Dr.K.V.Krishna Kishore. The event was formally brought to a close.
    Conclusion:
    A vast sharing of knowledge and ideas took place in the 2-day event. A networking between international students from various south Indian institutions was made in this fairly new concept event. Furthermore, a positive feedback and appreciation towards Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) was shown by all the participants.
