Program Description:

Machine Design Program is designed to equip students for professional careers in the Design Departments of heavy engineering Industry, Research Laboratories and Defense Organizations. Advanced subjects like Fracture Mechanics, Advanced Finite Element Methods, Industrial Tribology, Reliability Engineering and Nanotechnology courses strengthen the students knowledge for the efficient designs with optimum material utilization

Professional Outcomes:

After the completion of this course the students are well equipped with the areas of mechanisms, design synthesis and machine dynamics which are helpful for them to join in research organizations like ISRO, DRDO and Public Sector companies.
